Bon Voyage Seester!

we were super lucky and ALL got gate passes to see chal off. it was way early. originally chal was supposed to leave at noon, but them irene decided to hit the eastcoast and her flight was canceled. THEN at midnight she was rescheduled to fly out at 6am. YIKES!! we scrambled to pack and got maybe an hour of sleep and at 4am we were up and off the the airport.

Girls Night

With Chally leaving for her spanish adventure, i thought that we needed to have girl day/night together. jeremy had made arrangements to stay at a hotel for my birthday, but with a little sweet talk i was able to convince him into giving us the room for our girls night. We spent the day shopping. we started out at nordys for lunch and then we ventured out into the mall (shocking...i know). and then at the end of the day we ended up back at nordys and spent our birthday money on matching sparkly top-siders!

Then we went onto dinner, we were all super tired and nobody could decide what we wanted to eat. we ended up at oreganos, the best part was the pizza cookie. we didn't spend as much time at the hotel as we wanted to and we didn't even get to spend any time at the pool-bummer right?

all in all we had a great time, chall & easton got in lots of extra snuggles

Despite her better judgement, we were able to convince nana to join us for the evening +

i couldnt help but try and make chal cry, i gave her a cute litle token that looks like a globe and on the back it says “theres no place like home” we sure miss her and yet we are so proud and excited for this new chapter in her life. i am especially excited to go visit after the first of the year!

I almost forget - 

the next morning we had an awesome breakfast at gallo blanco in the hotel! it was soooooooo yummy!

Tickets, Toms, & Tiffany's

i had a lovely birthday celebration this year it started on saturday with lunch a cheesecake factory, yumm. despite the lack of pictures, dad and jeremy were also at lunch.

Jeremy bought tickets to go see blink-182, which is the one band i have always wanted to see. im super excited, i think that we are going to make a night of it.

 i also got a super cute pair of toms. 

and all us girls now have these tiffany’s bracelets. 

no trip to cheesecake is complete without cheesecake! my fave is fresh banana...i could actually go for a piece right now:)

then on sunday, my actual birthday i requested dads famous hotdogs and potatoes for sunday dinner. 

he and chally rocked it the kitchen and we had a delish dinner. 

and of course no birthday celebration is complete without moms texas sheet cake and some candles. thanks for a great 24th birthday.

looking back i am exactly where i want to be in my life. sure i have not finished school yet, something i really would love to do...someday, but today is not that day. today i am working on being the best wife i can be while being a momma to easton. yes, it is challenging. yes, some days are super hard. but there is nothing else i can imagine doing. i have a great support system and the best family a girl could ask for. heres to another year in the life of me! thanks for a wonderful birthday!

4 Month Stats

well folks we’ve got a big happy healthy boy:)

26” tall and weighs 15lbs 13oz

easton is holding his head really well

sits up great with support

is putting weight on his legs, he wobbles like a hula dancer but its cute

he is beginning to recognize people, its soo sweet 

he is exploring his world through his mouth

he is still not sleeping very much but we are working with it!

we are trying to spend as much time with auntie as possible before she leaves. we are also trying to talk j into taking us to disneyland paris when we go to visit auntie in spain next year.

{sweet boy}

toasty is getting so  big, i know it really was  not that long ago, but i really miss his tiny little self. he is growing like a weed and changing so much.

here is what he is up to these days:

rollin from belly to back
turning onto his side to sleep...if he sleeps that is
everything, i mean everything goes straight to his mouth. it pretty funny
gagging himself, and then doing it over again just to make sure he doesn't like it
he sings himself to sleep in the car with the cutest little "oooos" and "aahhhs"
he likes to hold your hand and he falls asleep
pulling the paci out and then screaming until you put it back in, OR
pulling it out and trying with all his might to get it back in, sometimes this is successful
his legs are getting stronger and he will put some weight on them

we just really love him to bits! he is the best baby ever!!
